WHAT IS QRF

"Lift the Stigma"

Quality Resilience Fitness (QRF), a Veteran owned Organization, is driven to shine the light on Military Veteran suicides. We have lost too many brothers and sisters overseas, and continue to lose our forces here at home. QRF is raising awareness by hosting fitness events at local gyms to promote awareness and mental wellness for those currently suffering with PTSD and other mental conditions. In addition to providing Military Veteran's memberships to community based gyms to promote a team atmosphere.

AUSTIN OWENS

Strongman Competitor

Served in U.S Army as an 11B (infantryman). I was deployed to Khas Kunar, Afghanistan attached to
SOTF East. While on patrol, we were ambushed where I was injured by an RPG, catching 17 pieces of shrapnel throughout my body, 3 of which in my head. I sustained a TBI (traumatic brain injury) as well as other physical injuries and was medically retired out of the Army. Going through Physical and Occupational therapy, I found fitness to be my life line. It kept me sane, motivated to be alive and
helped me get through the dark times. I whole heartly support QRF because they support veterans
through fitness and athletics. I understand how fitness can change the entire perspective you may have
on the world. I now am a USS MW Strongman competitor and QRF has helped this journey come to life.
